Welcome to Lemon U, an interactive learning and connection experience from Lemonade Day designed to help young people discover what it means to think like an entrepreneur.
Lemonade Day begins with a simple idea: give a young person the opportunity to start and operate their own lemonade stand.
But the lessons can go so much further.
At Lemon U, we're bringing young entrepreneurs, parents, mentors, business owners, and community leaders together to learn from one another and turn curiosity into action.
Lemon U is about learning by doing, asking, sharing, and connecting.
Young entrepreneurs will have opportunities to explore ideas like:
How do I turn an idea into a business?
How do I know what customers want?
How should I price my product?
What does it mean to make a profit?
How do I tell people about my business?
What happens when my first idea doesn't work?
And perhaps the biggest question of all:
What can I create?
Along the way, participants can meet entrepreneurs and business leaders, hear real stories, ask questions, exchange ideas with other young entrepreneurs, and build the confidence to try something themselves.
Lemon U isn't only about developing future business owners.
It's about helping our children develop confidence, communication, creativity, financial awareness, resilience, leadership, and problem-solving skills that can serve them throughout their lives.
Parents have an important role to play.
