Legacy Grove Network Terms of Engagement
Rules and Guidelines for an Exceptional Member Experience
Legacy Grove Network is a curated Business-to-Business Referral Exchange built for relationship development, professional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and commercial opportunity.
The Network brings together independent professionals, brokers, wealth managers, business owners, community leaders, and strategic partners who believe trusted relationships create stronger businesses and better outcomes.
These Terms of Engagement establish the standards every member agrees to follow.
1. Purpose of the Network
Legacy Grove Network exists to cultivate trusted relationships where business owners and professionals exchange referrals, resources, and opportunities for mutual growth.
This is not a casual social feed, an unrestricted advertising channel, or a high-pressure sales environment. It is a working business community where members build Relationship Capital through meaningful participation, professional credibility, and consistent contribution.
2. Professional Participation
Members are encouraged to:
Introduce themselves and their businesses
Clearly explain whom they serve and the problems they solve
Ask thoughtful questions
Share relevant knowledge and resources
Participate in discussions and events
Develop relationships across industries
Make appropriate introductions
Explore legitimate business collaborations
Members do not need to participate every day, but continued membership should include reasonable engagement and contribution to the community.
3. Relationship-First Outreach
Professional outreach is welcome when it is relevant, respectful, and based on reasonable alignment.
Members may contact one another to continue a conversation, learn about another business, explore collaboration, or discuss a potential referral. However, membership does not provide blanket permission for unsolicited selling.
The following are prohibited:
Mass or automated direct messages
Repeated solicitations after someone declines
High-pressure sales tactics
Misleading offers or artificial urgency
Adding members to outside email or marketing lists without consent
Scraping, exporting, selling, or distributing member information
Treating the membership directory as a prospecting database
Conversation comes first. Trust comes before opportunity.
4. Referral Standards
A referral represents the trust and reputation of the person making it. Members must handle every introduction responsibly.
Members are expected to:
Make referrals honestly and in good faith
Obtain appropriate consent before sharing private contact information
Provide reasonable context when making an introduction
Respond to referrals promptly and professionally
Avoid misrepresenting another member’s needs or level of interest
Protect confidential information received through an introduction
Keep the referring member appropriately informed
Never pressure another member to provide referrals
No member is required to make, accept, or act upon a referral. Legacy Grove Network does not guarantee referrals, clients, revenue, contracts, or business results.
Unless separately disclosed and lawfully agreed upon, a referral should not be interpreted as an endorsement, agency relationship, partnership, or promise of compensation.
5. Accuracy and Professional Standing
Members must represent their identity, business, experience, credentials, licenses, services, and affiliations truthfully.
Members are responsible for maintaining any licenses, registrations, insurance, permits, or professional qualifications required for the services they provide. Any material restriction, conflict, or limitation affecting a proposed engagement should be disclosed to the appropriate parties.
Legacy Grove Network membership is not a certification, professional license, or guarantee of a member’s services.
6. Regulated and Professional Services
Members offering financial, insurance, investment, legal, tax, healthcare, real estate, or other regulated services remain responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, licensing requirements, professional standards, and organizational policies applicable to them.
Community content is provided for general business and educational purposes. It should not be treated as personalized financial, investment, legal, tax, medical, or other professional advice.
Members must complete their own due diligence before entering any business relationship, purchasing a service, making a referral, or acting on information shared within the Network.
7. Professional Conduct
Members must communicate with professionalism and respect, including when opinions differ.
Healthy discussion, constructive disagreement, and strong professional perspectives are welcome. The following are not:
Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination
Threatening, hostile, or abusive behavior
Personal attacks or public humiliation
False or malicious statements
Fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful activity
Conduct that materially damages the trust or safety of the community
Leadership is demonstrated through conduct, especially when disagreement occurs.
8. Relevant Content
Posts, comments, events, and conversations should support the Network’s purpose, including:
Relationship development
Referral opportunities
Business education
Professional collaboration
Community resources
Market insights
Member achievements
Relevant events and initiatives
Reasonable business promotion is permitted when it is transparent, relevant, and proportionate. Repetitive advertising, unrelated content, deceptive claims, and promotional flooding may be removed.
9. Confidentiality and Privacy
Members may discuss business strategies, client situations, professional experiences, or operational challenges. Information identified as private or reasonably understood to be confidential must be treated with discretion.
Members may not, without appropriate permission:
Share private messages or conversations
Distribute confidential documents
Record private meetings
Publish screenshots of member discussions
Disclose personal, client, employee, or proprietary information
Use confidential information for personal or commercial advantage
Members should not post sensitive information that they are not authorized to disclose. Legacy Grove Network cannot guarantee that every community discussion will remain confidential.
10. Independent Business Relationships
Members participate as independent individuals or representatives of their respective businesses.
Legacy Grove Network does not become a party to agreements, transactions, referrals, disputes, or engagements between members unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
Members are individually responsible for evaluating opportunities, establishing terms, documenting agreements, collecting payments, fulfilling obligations, and resolving disputes arising from their business relationships.
11. Conflicts and Concerns
Members should address ordinary business misunderstandings directly, privately, and professionally whenever appropriate.
Suspected misconduct, fraud, harassment, misuse of information, or violations of these terms should be reported to Network leadership. Public accusations and retaliatory behavior may undermine a fair review and are discouraged.
Legacy Grove Network may review concerns but is not obligated to mediate or resolve private commercial disputes between members.
12. Moderation and Membership Access
Legacy Grove Network may moderate content and participation to protect the community’s purpose, culture, credibility, and member experience.
The Network may:
Remove or restrict content
Issue guidance or warnings
Limit participation
Suspend or terminate membership
Deny renewal or future access
Serious violations may result in immediate removal. Membership decisions may be made when conduct creates material risk to members, the Network, or the Legacy Grove Group brand.
Moderation exists to preserve trust—not to suppress legitimate professional discussion.
13. Member Acknowledgment
By joining or participating in Legacy Grove Network, each member agrees to:
Follow these Terms of Engagement
Represent themselves and their business honestly
Respect member privacy and professional boundaries
Handle referrals and introductions responsibly
Exercise independent judgment and due diligence
Contribute to a professional, relationship-first community
Accept responsibility for their own decisions, communications, and business activities
Legacy Grove Network works when members show up with purpose, contribute with generosity, and steward relationships with care.
That is the standard. That is how trust is built. And that is how shared opportunity grows.
