Grandma Edie lived a vibrant life, reaching 102 years. The youngest of five siblings, she was protective of her sister Minnie. Sharyn spent many Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year's vacations living and caring for Grandma in her apartment, creating a special bond.
Edith Urist, wife of David Urist, who predeceased her in 2011, was inseparable from him for 67 years. They raised a family in Brooklyn, New York, celebrating Jewish holidays across various states. Edith later moved to Delray Beach to be near her late daughter, Lynn Finkelstein, a CPA, CFP, and MBA.
Grandma Edie was proud of her grandchildren, Amy, an accomplished physical therapist, and Paul, who worked alongside his mom in finance. She also took pride in Russell's research achievements and Sarah Finkelstein's expertise in Medicare and finance.
Grandma enjoyed meals at Bagel Twins, Poppies, and Hurricane Café. This Sunday at 10:45 AM, we will gather to celebrate her life and honor her warmth and devotion to family. We love you, Grandma Edie.
