Sunday Reflection: Who Were You Before the World Told You Who to Be?
As coaches, we spend so much time helping others uncover their truth, embrace their purpose, and step into their fullest potential. But today, I want to turn the reflection inward…
✨ Who were you before the world told you who to be?
Before the titles, expectations, and responsibilities—who was that dreamer, healer, leader, or creator inside of you?
For me, I’ve always been a little different. Somewhat introverted, yet always drawn to the underdog. I never followed the crowd, and I never could stand bullies—I spoke up, even when it was uncomfortable. As I grew up, I often did the opposite of what everyone else was doing—not out of rebellion, but because I wanted to see the world differently, challenge the norm, and carve my own path.
My parents were my greatest teachers, instilling in me values that shaped who I am today: never lie, cheat, or steal; always do the right thing, never give up, and stand strong in your beliefs. They taught me that respect is both given and earned—by standing up for yourself and what you believe in. These lessons became the foundation of how I lead, how I coach, and how I help others step fully into their own power.
That instinct to challenge, explore, and trust my own voice led me to where I am today—helping coaches step fully into who they are, own their story, and build a business that aligns with their purpose.
Your turn: Take a moment to reflect… what parts of your authentic self have you reclaimed on your coaching journey? What parts are you still working to embrace?
Drop your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear. 💖
