🌿 Roots to Resilience: The Garden on Clifton Was a Hit!
Last month, we welcomed over 30 guests to our first-ever Garden on Clifton event—and it was a beautiful reminder of what happens when purpose and community get their hands dirty (literally).
We planted veggies, made lip balm, played games, and shared knowledge on soil health, self-care, and sustainability. Shiba Shiba the Green Thumb Diva came all the way from Georgia to pour into our youth—and Miss Tika’s homemade lemonade? A crowd FAVORITE🍋
This garden is growing more than just plants. It’s cultivating healing, confidence, and connection.
🎉 Coming Up: Our Juneteenth Garden Gathering
We’re heading back to the garden for our Roots to Resilience Juneteenth Event on Wednesday, June 19!
Join us as we honor freedom through food, fellowship, and learning. Expect hands-on gardening, youth-led activities, wellness resources, and more lemonade (of course).

🎭 Talent Show Spotlight: Rising Stars Took the Stage
April also brought our Rising Stars Youth Talent Show Fundraiser—an incredible showcase of music, poetry, dance, and courage. Your support helped us highlight the creativity in our community and raise funds for ongoing youth development work. 🌟
💰 Coming Soon: Financial Literacy for College-Bound Teens
Next month, we’re hosting a Financial Literacy Workshop for graduating high school seniors. From budgeting to credit traps to refund check realness—this session will equip teens with tools to protect their bag before they even leave for campus.
