I just want to be real for a moment.

I’ve gone through so many Zoom interviews already I always show up, prepare, and try my best to express myself. But still, I often end up not getting hired.

To be honest, interviews aren’t easy for me. I sometimes struggle to put my thoughts into words, especially when I’m nervous or overthinking. It can be frustrating because I know I’m capable, hardworking, and willing to learn. But I feel like my potential doesn’t always come across the way I want it to during interviews.

What I really want is a chance. A chance to prove myself through actual work, not just words in a short call. I thrive more when I’m already in the role when I can focus, contribute, and show what I can really do.

So to anyone out there feeling the same you're not alone. And to employers who value dedication, consistency, and growth mindset: I may not be the best speaker, but I promise I’ll always show up and give my best.
