That is correct. we did start our own group and locked out our competition. It's hard work running, organizing, facilitating, etc...Every Wednesday tues thurs or sat online morning, I bring my PIG, my books, my wife, expecting a boat load of entrepreneurs, small business owners, sharp workaholics and more. I use all the tools and tricks of the trade to make the meeting grow for everyones benefit. 

There is NO charge on the first visit and NO charge again the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and ALL year long. Coming to this meeting, a business owner can save $1,000 right away. Each speaker or biz owner gets to showcase every Wednesday for 1 minute or the HOG I mentioned earlier makes an OBNOXIOUS loud noise.That makes the meeting run on time and also provides a bunch of Humor. For over 3 decades I've seen lots of meet greet meetings at nationwide, global and local organizations. All of them have great schtuffthat they do to help grow business. I've seen non exclusive, exclusive, lectures, red carpets, entertainment, online or virtual and in person activities at these groups. Though many meetings can be fun, entertaining, and educational, are you really receiving all the ROI you wanted?

 I think it is a good estimate to invest 25% of your marketing activities each month attending meet greet in person meetings with other entrepreneurs and small biz owners. Here's some of my TOP TEN things to do to get the most out of ANY meet greet you are a guest...1. Bring your leads and referrals instead of leaving them in your CRM or Trello Boards2. Craft ahead of time a rehearsed FULL 60 second commercial ( start it with a question if you're looking for a hint)3. Prepare a rehearsed 6-10 minute presentation that does not rely on a powerpoint and especially do not add too many words per slide4. Use LESS technical jargon and talk in very lay terms (most of us have information overload so talk with us vs at us )5. Do insert MORE pauses not less. Negative space in art like negative space while talking is those pauses. Talking fast is commanding, but pausing is POWERFUL.6. Use a advanced technique using a PROP. OR a Positive gesture. Make sure it is a BIG prop or gesture is a HUGE audience.7. START with a question in the beginning will help most rookie non professional speakers8. Focus on getting to the point and in less time. 1 minute, 2 minute and 6 minutes are great times to speak. 9. GIVE your audience an agenda or tell them ahead of time, I need 2 minutes, is that ok? 10. Here's a biggie. Stop putting your audiences to sleep. If you are sold yourself on your service or product, use the last 4 lettersof enthusism to your benefit. "I am sold myself". ( Of course by doing that, you will be enthusiastic and never boring.)Make sense. These are a great reminder for all of us for this and next Wednesday.

Well, if our host can add food and coffee, that is their choice or option to be an exceptional host. Our host is already exceptional giving us the space to meet. Plan to meet your hosts, Sara and Paul with your 1st 30 days for your 1 on 1 for 1 hour to get on the speaker bureau for an upcoming week. 5. Homework: each week you'll get assigned a 1 on 1. As you get to know the guests weekly, you'll be growing your referral base and leads.
