As parents, that leaves us with an important question:

We believe the answer isn’t simply teaching them more.

That is why we are building NextGen Connect Kids.

A Community for Kids — and Their Fathers

NextGen Connect Kids is a community designed for children ages 9–13 and their fathers.

But this isn’t another class where parents drop their kids off and come back an hour later.

We want fathers involved.

We want fathers and kids exploring together, meeting other families, discovering new ideas, working on projects, having conversations, solving problems, and creating things together.

Because we’re not only trying to develop better young entrepreneurs, technologists, or students.

We’re trying to develop stronger kids, stronger relationships, and a community that grows together.

From Consumers to Creators

Our children have access to more technology and information than any generation before them.

But having access to technology isn’t the same as knowing what to do with it.

We want our kids to look at technology and ask:

What can I create with this?

We want them to encounter a problem and wonder:

Could I solve that?

We want them to meet someone doing something interesting and think:

Maybe I could do something like that too.

AI, technology, science, business, creativity, and entrepreneurship become tools for developing something much bigger: a child’s belief that they can take an idea and turn it into something real.

The Community Is the Experience

There are already plenty of classes, camps, videos, and apps available to kids.

NextGen Connect Kids is different because we are building a community.

Kids will meet other curious kids.

Fathers will meet other fathers.

Families will bring different experiences, skills, professions, interests, and perspectives into the community.

One father might introduce the kids to robotics. Another might own a restaurant and show them how a business works. Someone else might be an engineer, entrepreneur, artist, doctor, programmer, builder, investor, or inventor.

And sometimes the most important connection may simply be one child meeting another child who gets excited about the same things they do.

The value isn’t just what happens at one event. The value is who becomes part of your child’s world.

Our shared mission can be described through five simple ideas.

Build friendships with other curious kids and relationships with adults who can expand their view of what’s possible.

EXPLORE

Experience new technologies, businesses, careers, ideas, industries, and real-world problems.

IMAGINE

Encourage kids to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and wonder, “What if?”

CREATE

Give kids opportunities to turn their ideas into projects, experiments, prototypes, businesses, solutions, or something entirely unexpected.

SHARE

Help kids become comfortable explaining what they created, receiving feedback, learning from others, and inspiring someone else.

Then we do it again.

Because discovery isn’t a destination. It’s a process.

Fathers Are Part of the Community Too

There is another reason we believe fathers should participate.

Our kids are growing quickly.

As they get older, finding meaningful things to do together can become harder.

NextGen Connect Kids creates opportunities for fathers and children to experience something new side by side.

Not sitting in the audience watching.

Participating.

Building something. Meeting someone. Visiting somewhere new. Solving a problem. Having a conversation on the drive home that might never have happened otherwise.

We may be building projects together, but we are also building something much more important:
