I’ve always believed that the words you use matter. Whether having a friendly conversation or writing content for your business, clearly conveying your thoughts and ideas is crucial.

My husband and I found our dream home in a private lake community about an hour north of Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh has been my home for most of my life. I have two daughters, four stepchildren, and twelve grandchildren. (Yes, I know, I’m way too young to have so many grandchildren!)

Most of my career has been spent in the real estate industry as a full-time agent, real estate trainer, and mentor for new agents. I honed my marketing skills to ensure my clients’ homes outshined the competition. Later in my career, I helped start a non-profit that built new homes and modified existing ones for people with disabilities.

I found an opportunity that fulfilled my desire to help others and use my expertise in real estate. This career opportunity would be where I would work until retirement. However, our parent company pulled our funding on our second anniversary due to their loss of funding. It was an opportunity to start a business that offered more flexibility in my schedule.

My journey as a Certified Virtual Expert® began in an industry I knew well: real estate, where I provided virtual support. My services included writing compelling blog posts and social media content for real estate agents, which reignited my passion for writing.

Embracing my passion, I pivoted my focus from real estate support to copywriting. I created Your Cup of Copy to help more entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

After years of sales training, persuasive copywriting was a natural fit for my skills. I enjoy writing various types of attraction and persuasive content, helping entrepreneurs attract, retain, and re-engage with clients.
