Assigned all topics and wrote all headlines for site content, as well as staffing and managing a team of writers and a senior editor. Also managed social media campaigns on X and Pinterest, increasing online engagement. Additionally, designed and wrote weekly newsletter, increasing subscriptions with each issue.
Daily tasks also included editing articles for facts, readability, clarity, tone, link strength, SEO and adherence to style guidelines.
Doubled traffic to site within first six months and increased traffic every month after, until the Google update of April 2025 when traffic for all Valnet sites was halved.
