HARSH TRUTH: You probably don't know what your goal actually is.
We hosted a goal setting workshop today and it was interesting that as people worked through the steps of setting a goal and determining the reasons for the goal and the action steps needed to achieve the goal, they realized, IT WAS THE WRONG GOAL!
The real goal, and thus the action steps and path to it, only came after doing all the work of planning the first goal.
The vast majority of people don't take the time to plan out their goal, and thus pursue the wrong thing. They inevitably fail or feel unmotivated and start chasing another shiny new goal. The cycle continues, until they either completely give up or miraculously get to the right goal.
Don't be like that. Take the hour and map things out. Here is a simple worksheet to help you: https://link.skyler.network/sn_1739231354269
