Building a Business That Fits Your Real Life
Today is my birthday. 🎉
And instead of starting my morning with contemplation and journaling like I usually would… I was bottle-feeding a calf.
Her name is Blackie—one of a set of twins born a couple weeks ago here on my niece’s farm. Sadly (and not uncommonly), her mama rejected her, choosing to care for only one of the twins. So now, Blackie gets four bottle feeds a day.
I do three of them:
6 a.m., 12 noon, and 5 p.m.
My niece takes the 10 p.m. shift—because, as many of you know, I’m in bed by 9.
Life has a way of re-writing your routines.
Normally this time of year, I’m focused on coaching, content, and client attraction strategy. And yes—I’m still doing that. I’m still hosting my weekly women’s group, seeing clients, and staying connected to my community.
But I’m also:
Checking on cows in the pasture
Getting my boots muddy before 6 a.m.
Helping out on a working farm during calving season
And feeding a baby calf named Blackie who’s stolen a piece of my heart
This wasn’t part of my Q2 business plan.
But it’s real. It’s grounding. And it’s teaching me something valuable:
You can build a business that works with your life—not against it.
You don’t need a perfect routine to attract clients.
What you do need is clarity, consistency, and the ability to adapt without losing your momentum.
That’s exactly what I teach inside the Client Attraction Bootcamp.
Because let’s be honest—life doesn’t slow down just because you decided to start or grow a coaching business.
There are:
🍼 Calves to feed (or kids, or aging parents, or big life shifts)
🧹 Schedules to juggle
💻 Clients to serve
And still—you’re called to coach.
So let’s build your business around your reality.
If you’re ready to:
✔ Gain confidence in how you talk about your coaching
✔ Practice real conversations that lead to aligned clients
✔ Learn how to attract clients without sacrificing your lifestyle
Then join me in June for the Client Attraction Bootcamp.
We’ll keep it real.
We’ll practice with purpose.
And we’ll do it in a way that fits your rhythm.
💛 Final Thoughts
You don’t need to be perfectly productive every day. You don’t need to “catch up.” You just need a business that allows you to be fully you—on the days you’re journaling… and on the days you’re bottle-feeding calves at sunrise.
✨ Here’s to building a coaching business that aligns with your life.
🍼 And here’s to Blackie—my newest little accountability partner.
The next round of the Client Attraction Bootcamp kicks off in June.
