So.. as I write this I am avoiding a 4 letter word..... FORM... well 5 letters if you add the "S" because I have multibles to do.
Now this task was besotted upon me after I hired a client retention specialist. She needs me to rewrite my forms, make them clear concise, and alow for easy client flow.
As easy as you think this would be it led me down a few rabbit holes.
I had just found out my CRM was sending emails with their .com and not my @biztroming.net, so the 200 emails being sent and less than half getting read. I would have to have my email list all add their .com to the approved list and that is more steps than we want our customers to take.
So now I needed a new CRM.
I wanted a CRM that had form capability because sometimes connecting forms to CRMs with 3rd parties is not flawless. So that rabbit hole took me down some dark alleys and I finally found a Form program that integrated directly with my new CRM program.
Now the rabbit hole of "I have many forms for many things and how do I cut them down to make it easier? Also, how do I not spend my days cutting and pasting questions?
Well, the answer was simple and I got lucky with my form builder it will import other forms. So just a few weeks and I am good to go.
Now look how easy that is!
My Virtual Assistant and my Client Retention specialist were all about solutions and glad I found them!
They were expecting forms done last week.
The list of accomplishments,
60 hours of client work
4 hours of sleep each day,
Website changes.
Accountability meetings,
TV show airings,
The list is extensive and I am very proud of it.
However, the accountability guilt is wearing heavy.
What is "Accountability Guilt" you ask?
Well, it is that voice in your head that reminds you you have open projects that will most likely take less time than you dread it taking.
The people around you that are dependent on your accomplishment of this task... and let's be honest it isn't going to kill them.... but it will hurt my Business If I do not manage it, and the sooner the better.
The task list that is sitting around because it cannot be completed. It is dependent on this one thing.
The potential clients that are missing out on my messaging and the conversations that these forms will help generate.
Now why you ask..... why is an Accountability Business Coach telling me about these rabbit holes and these things undone?
It is because I know and understand we will all fall down a rabbit hole or many.
It is because when I do fall I know how to get back up.
I am telling you because as an Accountability Coach, I understand that you can only be as vulnerable as I am.
I tell my clients all the time do as I say and not as I do.
But in truth, we really dive deep into why did you distract yourself.
Me.
I am afraid of what happens when it all works the way it is meant to? What happens when I actually Succeed?
Sometimes it's because It's a daunting task and I truly can not find the beginning of the maze.
Sometimes it truly isn't something I agree with.
Many of my clients have all sorts of reasons, for why they are not completing things, we dig down to the root of it and decide if this is a do-it, delegate-it, or dump-it task.
I know my forms are easy and I will get them done right after writing this guilt trip blog. *grins*
Hopefully, you will see yourself in the blog find the thing you are avoiding and decide best what you will do about it.
Sometimes you need a little push, sometimes you need a little guidance, and all the time, we need someone to celebrate the little wins with.
No matter the time send me a message I will find something to help you celebrate and then we can conquer the guilt.
