I go by Becca. I'm a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Instructional designer. Running, lifting, hiking, music, sketching, and outdoor activities are my hobbies. I currently live in Indiana with my 4 kids and small 3-acre farm.
At the age of 23, I found out that I had stage 3 classical Hodgkin's Lymphoma; a cancer that was treated with chemo and radiation. I went through this right out of college and my temporary teacher license expired. By the next fall, I was trying to decide what to do. I ended up being passionate about adult and ENL education.
I pursued education and adult education. I had experience teaching English as a New Language to many different people and groups. At Ivy Tech, I was an adjunct for English. I received my graduate degree at Purdue in Learning Design and Technology.
Because of my experience and journey with health, I became passionate about fitness. As an instructional designer in the clinical education department for a hospital organization, I produce web-based training programs and learned so much about the clinical world.
I have worked with several clients over the years and taught group HIIT and weightlifting classes. Health is my passion.
