My name is Stephen Parkes and I am here to serve. My formal education background is in Mechanical Engineering specializing in manufacturing. I also have extensive experience in supply chain and logistics management. Over 30 years I I have learned everything from product design, project management to sales, marketing, customer service and quality control. I have been fortunate to have travelled the world, visiting 6 continents, 15 countries and both hemispheres. I have been blessed to meet people from all over the world and from so many different cultures.
My memorable takeaways were the diverse learning and understanding of business in so many regions of the globe. I bring this experience, empathy and strength to every client, the teaching and training of new and existing businesses. Specifically the fundaments of starting a business and putting in a solid foundation every business should have. Every business is different, but fundamentally the same. If you skip over steps your don't have the foundation to rely on. I help businesses make the important decisions from the start or help improve their business to fill the gaps we identify in later stages. On a personal note: Over the last 9 months I have been recovering from a lower leg amputation. During this recovery period I have spent hundreds of hours learning and creating several software related projects that are directed to businesses and their concern for data sovereignty and security. I am currently programming with React, Python, Next.js, AWS and PostgreSQL. I am enjoying what I have made so far.
